For this hotel, we have employed a distinctive approach of Security and Stability. Our central focus remains on guaranteeing the security, speed, and reliability of the network infrastructure. Recognizing the critical importance of security in safeguarding both clients and ensuring the seamless operation of the network 24/7, we have implemented a comprehensive strategy.
To enhance Internet access, we have implemented voucher codes, providing guests with the option to enjoy complimentary standard Wi-Fi or upgrade to high-speed 1Gb/s connectivity at a reasonable additional cost. This dual offering not only addresses the increasing demand for bandwidth but also contributes to an elevated overall guest experience.
A paramount aspect of our approach involves prioritizing security for hotel guests. To achieve this, we strategically implemented VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) and firewall rules, creating a segmented and secure environment for both clients and hotel staff. Distinguished VLANs, including Management VLANs, CCTV camera networks, and dedicated staff and guest networks, were established to efficiently manage and control network traffic.
Of particular note is the isolation of the Guest network from the broader hotel network, ensuring a secure and private online experience for guests. This isolation prevents any direct communication between guest devices and other smart devices within the hotel’s network, enhancing both security and privacy.
